Vadilal & Company

Vadilal & Company is tucked away in Jamasji Apartment, which is at No. 10 on Sleater Road in Tardeo. It’s one of those older buildings that has a lot of character, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We’ve been in this spot for quite a long time now. Tardeo is always moving, so there is constant traffic outside our windows. You can hear the taxis honking all day long. Inside the office, it’s a bit more peaceful, even if we have boxes piled up in the corners. We do our work at these old wooden desks that have been here since I started. It’s not a corporate setup with glass walls or fancy chairs. We just have what we need to get through the day's tasks. Most of the people who come to see us are regular clients who have been coming here for years. They know the way up and don’t mind the narrow hallway. We usually have some tea around four o’clock, which is a nice break from the phones. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just focus on the orders and making sure the numbers add up. It’s a bit old-fashioned, I suppose, but it works for us and the people we serve.
