V.L. Astra Engineers (India) Pvt. Ltd. is located right at the corner of Poona and Solapur Street. Our office is number 208 in Doshi Chambers, which is over in Masjid Buner. It is a very busy area, especially with all the trading and movement of goods happening at all hours. You can hear the noise from the street even when the windows are shut, but you get used to it after a week. We focus on engineering work and providing technical support. The office isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Plot number 29 has been our home for quite a bit. We spend our days looking over drawings and talking to suppliers. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes the logistics of getting things delivered to Masjid Buner are a nightmare because the streets are so narrow, but we find a way. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just have a small team of people who know their way around an engine or a blueprint. Most days are just about solving one problem after another. We drink a lot of chai and talk about how the business is going. It's a bit dusty sometimes because of all the construction nearby, but we keep the place as clean as we can. Our filing cabinets are old but they still work just fine for us.
