V. K. Engineering Works

V. K. Engineering Works is tucked away in the Dayabhai Compound on S.V. Road. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Petol pump in Malad West. It is a busy spot, and the noise from the traffic never really stops. We have been in this same spot for a long time, watching the neighborhood change around us. The workshop isn't very large, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Most days start early with the sound of shutters going up. We handle a lot of different mechanical jobs, and it usually involves a fair bit of grime and heavy lifting. The floor is stained from years of work, which shows how much has actually gone on here. It gets quite crowded in the compound with trucks coming and going, so you have to be careful where you park. We aren't the type to have a polished reception desk or someone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently under a machine. It's practical work. We deal with whatever comes our way, from small repairs to bigger fabrication tasks. Sometimes the monsoon makes things a bit messy, but we keep the machines running regardless. It is just a local shop where we focus on the metal and the tools in front of us. It's just how the shop is.
