V I P General Stores

You can find us at Shop Number 12 in the Manish Building, which is over in Borivali West. We are sitting right opposite the Gokul Hotel, so people usually use that as a landmark when they are trying to find the shop for the first time. V I P General Stores is a basic place where we keep all the daily stuff people might need for their homes. We open up pretty early in the morning because that is when the neighborhood starts moving and folks want to pick things up on their way to work. The shop is not very big, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves to make everything fit. It can get a bit cramped when a few customers come in at the same time, but we manage. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and writing down what we are running low on. It is mostly just routine stuff like handling coins and packing items in bags. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking sound but it keeps the air moving. Outside, the street is always active with cars and people walking to the station. We know most of the regulars who live in the nearby buildings. It is just a regular local shop where we try to stay organized and keep the shelves filled with the things people ask for the most. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here.
