UTKAL UTKHANAN LLP

Utkal Utkhanan is up in Malabar Hill, at a place called Purab Apartment. It’s on B. G. Kher Marg, near Teen Batti Walkeshwar. We are on the 6th floor, so we get a decent view of the area. It’s a very different vibe from the sites where we actually do our work. We deal with excavation, which is basically digging and moving earth for big projects. It’s messy, loud work, but our office here is quite the opposite. It’s a quiet apartment where we do all the planning and numbers. We have some large tables for spreading out site maps and charts. Malabar Hill is a nice part of Mumbai, and it’s a good place to come back to after a day out in the dirt and noise. We have a small kitchen and a few rooms set up as offices. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We don't have many visitors, so it’s usually just us and the sound of the city outside. The 18th floor is mentioned in our address too, but we are primarily on the 6th for our daily operations. We’ve been here for a while. Dealing with rocks and earth requires a lot of technical knowledge, so we spend time reading reports and checking regulations. It’s a steady pace of work without much fuss. We just focus on the task and try to get things right.
