Usha Engineering Works

Usha Engineering Works is located at D-6 in the Avinash Industrial Estate, out in the Chingapude area of Armol. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by the sounds of manufacturing all day long. There is always a machine humming or someone welding something nearby. Our unit, D-6, is where we do all our fabrication and engineering work. It is a big open space with high ceilings and a concrete floor that has seen a lot of oil spills and heavy equipment over the years. It is definitely not a clean-cut office; it is a workshop where we get our hands dirty every single day. We have got lathes, drills, and all sorts of heavy machinery that we use for our projects. The lighting isn't the best, and it gets quite warm during the summer months, but it is where we feel most comfortable. We aren't big on corporate talk or fancy presentations. When someone comes to see us, we usually just meet them on the shop floor among the tools. It is a very practical way of doing things. We have been part of the Avinash Industrial Estate for a while, and we know our neighbors well. We all look out for each other out here in Chingapude. Our focus is just on the metal and the machines. It is a tough, noisy environment, but it is what we know best. We take things as they come and just keep the machines running to get the orders finished on time.
