Usha Devi Flourist Shop

Usha Devi Flourist Shop is located in Anand Nagar, over in Bandra East. It’s a simple little place, nothing too fancy or modern. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. Bandra East is a bit different from the west side; it feels a bit more like a real neighborhood where everyone knows each other's business. My family helps me run the shop every day. We don't have a big sign or bright lights to attract people, just a small space filled with whatever we brought in from the wholesale market that morning. It can get a bit cramped inside when we have a lot of buckets out on the floor. We spend a lot of time just cleaning up and cutting stems so things stay fresh. It’s usually quiet in the afternoons when it's hot, but it gets busy when people are coming home from work and want something for their house. We don't really use any big business words or have a grand plan for the future. We just want to make sure the shop stays open and we can pay our bills. Sometimes we run out of things or the delivery truck is late because of traffic, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. That’s just how life is here. People in Anand Nagar are very nice and they usually stop for a chat even if they aren’t buying anything that day. We really like being part of the daily routine in this area. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes our hands get stained, but we don’t mind.
