Flori7 is located at 1104 Powai Jupiter, right near the petrol pump. It’s a busy corner of Powai. Our shop is full of flowers, as you might expect. The air usually smells like lilies or roses, which is nice. We spend our mornings getting the fresh shipments in and trimming the stems. It’s a messy job sometimes. There are leaves and water on the floor a lot of the time. We make bouquets and arrangements for whatever people need. Some folks just want a single rose, others need big displays for an event. We don't have a corporate office; we just have the shop floor and a small counter. We use a lot of ribbons and cellophane. Our hands usually have small cuts or green stains from the plants. It’s hard work even if it looks pretty. We have to keep the flowers cool so they don't wilt in the heat. Sometimes we get a rush of customers all at once and it gets a bit crowded in the shop. We just handle them one by one. We’ve been in Powai for a while and we know the regulars who come in for their weekly flowers. We aren't a big chain. It’s just us working with what we have. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a flower doesn't look good, we don't sell it. That's just how we do things every day. We stay until the last bucket is cleaned.
