Saraswati Florist

Saraswati Florist is located at 3 Jogeshwari on Mallikarjuna Temple Street. We are very close to the Jogeshwari Station East side. Being near the temple means things get very busy, especially in the mornings when people are heading to pray. We deal with flowers all day long. It’s a lot of cutting stems, cleaning up petals, and putting things together. The smell of the flowers is nice, but it’s a lot of manual labor too. Our hands are usually a bit dirty from the plants. The shop isn’t huge, but we pack a lot into it. We get our stock early when the trucks come in. The street outside is always full of people walking to and from the train. You can hear the bells from the temple sometimes. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. People around here know us as the local flower shop. It’s not a fancy boutique, just a practical place where you can get what you need. We keep buckets of water everywhere to keep things fresh. Sometimes it gets messy with all the leaves on the floor, but we sweep up when we can. It’s just the way it goes when you work with nature. We stay open pretty late to catch the commuters going home. It’s a simple life, just us and the flowers on the temple street.
