Our office is tucked away in the Municipal Tenements at Shivaji Nagar. Specifically, we are at 194, C/14, which is right across from Fatima High School in the Sewri area of Mumbai. It’s a busy part of the city, and things can get pretty loud during the school hours. We have been here for a good stretch of time. Working out of Mumbai means you get used to the cramped spaces and the constant movement outside the door. We don't have a big corporate glass building. Instead, we have this small place where we handle all our business. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and sorting through files to keep everything organized. The people living nearby know us, and we are part of the daily rhythm of the street. It’s a practical setup for what we need to do. When the monsoon hits, the street gets a bit messy, but we stay dry inside and keep at it. Sewri is a hardworking neighborhood, and we fit right in with that. There’s no point in pretending to be something we aren't. We are just a group of people working out of a tenement building to get things done. If you walk past the school, you can't miss the building. It’s not fancy, but it is home to our daily operations and where the real work happens. We just take things one day at a time in this crowded city.
