Uday Engineering Works

You will find our workshop at Gala No 10 in the Maqsood Industrial area, right on Andheri East Station Road. We are in Gandhinagar, just opposite where the Star Plus office is located. It’s a noisy part of town, and our shop adds to that with all the grinding and hammering. We’ve been doing engineering work here for quite some time now. Mostly, we take on mechanical jobs, repairs, and making small parts for other businesses. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, so you have to watch your step. It is not a clean place, but it is where the work happens. We have a few old lathes and drills that have seen better days but still get the job done. The guys here do not wear suits; we are in grease-stained clothes most of the day. People bring us things that are broken or need a bit of welding, and we just figure out how to fix them. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know we are here because we have been in the same gala for years. It is hot work, especially when the sun hits the metal roof, but we just keep at it. We are not trying to be the biggest shop in Mumbai, just a reliable place where you can get your engineering stuff handled without a big fuss.
