Trisakha Developers is based in Girgaon, right on Jahannath Shankarsheth Marg in Bhatwadi. We’re on the second floor of the Raote Building, at Plot 85. Girgaon is a really traditional part of Mumbai, and working here feels very different from the newer parts of the city. The lanes are narrow and there’s a real sense of community among the shops and residents. Our office is just a simple space where we keep track of our development projects. Developing property in an area like this is never easy because of the old structures and the lack of space, but it’s what we do. We spend a lot of time talking to local residents and trying to figure out the best way to move forward with our plans. It’s not all sunshine and roses; there are plenty of days where we’re just stuck dealing with red tape or waiting for materials to arrive through the crowded streets. We don't use big fancy titles or act like we are better than anyone else. We’re just a small group of people trying to make a living by building and improving things in our own neighborhood. The office is often full of the smell of tea and the sound of people discussing floor plans. It’s a busy life, but it’s an honest one. We just take things one day at a time and try to do a decent job with the projects we have. There's always plenty to do when you're working in such a busy part of the city.
