We are based in Bhandup West, specifically at Sainath Cop Society. It’s over in Navdas Nagar on Tembipada Road. If you know where Nagpe School is, we are right opposite that. The school kids are always running around outside, so you have to be careful driving around here in the mornings. Our office is number 4. It’s a small space, mostly just enough room for a couple of desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Most of the day is spent talking to contractors or people from the neighborhood who want to know about new projects. It gets quite dusty because of all the road work nearby, so we are always wiping down the tables. Bhandup has changed a lot since we first started here. There are way more buildings now than there used to be. We know the other shop owners on the road pretty well, so there is always someone popping in to say hello or share some news. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic and the school bells, but it feels like a real community. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us trying to keep the paperwork organized. It’s a regular job and we just take it one day at a time. We’ve been at this spot for years and it suits us just fine.
