Travel Wide

You can find Travel Wide at Shop No 4 on the ground floor of the Masjid building. We are right opposite Hashemiah High School, so there's always a lot of energy around when school is in session. We handle tickets, passports, and general travel stuff. The shop is small and easy to miss if you aren’t looking, but we’ve been here long enough that people know us. We don't have a big staff. It’s usually just one or two of us sitting behind the counter. We have piles of forms and brochures, though most people just come in to ask questions. It’s a local business and we treat it that way. We don't use fancy systems, just a computer and a phone. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked with school buses, which makes it hard to park, but people manage. We started this shop because we wanted to help people in the neighborhood with their travel plans. A lot of folks around here have family abroad or in other states, so they come to us to sort out their trains or flights. We don't do big ads. We just wait for the door to open. It’s a simple life running a travel desk across from a school. We see the same faces every day and we like the familiarity of this part of town. It’s just a basic shop doing honest work for the locals.
