We are based at 60 Cuffe Parade on the 6th floor of the World Trade Centre. It’s a large building situated right behind Hotel President. Getting to the office involves going through the main gates and taking the lifts up. Once you're inside our space, it looks like a typical travel office. There are desks with computers and maps pinned up on the partitions. We have some old posters of different countries that have started to fade a bit from the sun. The view from the sixth floor shows some of the other buildings in the complex. It’s mostly quiet in here, which is a change from the street noise below. We spend our days looking at flight schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for people. The carpet is a dark blue and shows its age in the high-traffic areas. We have a small area with a table where we go over itineraries. The air conditioning is usually blasting because the windows don’t open. We take turns going down for lunch or just getting some fresh air near the hotel. It’s a professional enough space but it feels lived in. There are always half-empty water bottles and notebooks scattered on the desks. We just keep things moving and handle the bookings as they come in. It’s a steady pace of work in a very established part of town.
