The Spice

The Spice has been operating out of Goregaon East for a while now, specifically over in the Sion Koliwada 18 area. It is a bit of a crowded neighborhood, but that is what makes it feel alive. We are surrounded by all sorts of other small businesses and houses, so there is always someone walking by or stopping in to chat. Our day usually starts with checking the stock and seeing what needs to be replaced. The air around here always smells like something is being cooked or moved around. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we can do our work and keep things organized. Sometimes the rain makes the streets around Sion Koliwada 18 a bit messy, but we just deal with it and keep the doors open. We have some regulars who have been with us since the very beginning. They know us by name and we know what they usually want before they even ask. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. We just rely on being there every day and doing what we do. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us. Goregaon East can be a tough place to get around sometimes with all the traffic, but once you are inside our shop, things feel a bit more manageable. We just take it one day at a time and see how it goes.
