The Raj Palace

Our office for The Raj Palace is located over in Bhayender East, in the Manisha Building on B.P. Road. We’re up on the third floor in room 304. It’s a busy area of Mumbai, and there is always something going on outside our windows. We handle the day-to-day operations for the palace from here. This means a lot of talk about room availability, staff shifts, and ordering supplies for the kitchen. We aren't some big corporate chain with a fancy headquarters. We’re just a local team trying to keep things running. The office is usually a bit messy with notes and schedules taped to the walls. We spend our days answering the phone and trying to help guests with their plans. Bhayender is a lively place, and we feel like we’re right in the middle of it. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is a bit finicky, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’ve all been working together for a long time, so we don't need to explain much to each other anymore. We just get on with it. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. Our goal is just to make sure the place stays clean and the guests have what they need. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps the business going. We like being part of the neighborhood here. It is just regular work for regular people, and we are fine with that.
