The Micro Engineering Works

We are set up at Plot No. 4 on Gurudeo 4th Road. It’s right across from the New Masjid on Reay Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of movement and constant noise from the local traffic. We’ve been at this location for a long time now. The Micro Engineering Works is what we call it, though we do a bit of everything when it comes to mechanical stuff. The shop is usually full of bits and pieces of old machinery and tools. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. We spend our days over the workbenches, working on small parts and fixes. It’s precise work, which is why we’ve managed to stay in business so long. People bring us things that other shops won't bother to touch. We don't have a fancy waiting room or any air conditioning. You just come in, show us what’s broken, and we see if we can fix it. It’s a dusty part of town, especially with the docks and the industries nearby. We’re used to the grime by now. The masjid across the way is a good landmark for people trying to find the turn. We just keep to ourselves mostly and focus on the work at hand. It’s a family-run thing, and we take it one day at a time. We don't make big promises, just that we’ll do our best with the tools we have. It’s worked for us so far.
