The Little Kingdom Florist

The Little Kingdom Florist is pretty easy to find once you get to Ar Dalvi Road in Kandivali West because we are right next to the Monginis cake shop. It’s a good spot to be in because the smell of fresh cakes often drifts over into our shop, mixing with the scent of the lilies and roses we have out. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and we’ve become a part of the daily routine for people living in this part of Kandivali. The shop is small, and we have to use every bit of space we have, even hanging things from the ceiling sometimes. We get a lot of kids stopping by to look at the bright colors while their parents are buying cakes next door. The street outside can get quite dusty, so we are always spraying water on the plants to keep them looking fresh and clean. It’s not a high-end studio; it’s a working shop where we are constantly cutting, tying, and moving heavy buckets around. We use old newspapers to wrap many of our things, and our hands are usually a bit stained from the sap and the water. We don't have any corporate branding or a fancy mission. We just open up the shutters every morning, put out whatever we have ready, and wait to see who comes by. It is a bit loud with the traffic on Dalvi Road, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years.
