The Hope Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. is located at 17, B. Bharucha Marg. We are right there in the Military Square Lane area of Fort. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for quite some time. The building is older, but it holds up well for what we need to do. Engineering is what we know. We handle a lot of different parts and repairs for machines, mostly stuff that people bring in when they can’t find a fix elsewhere. It’s not a very big space, but we use every inch of it for the tools and the workbenches. You’ll find us there from early morning until the evening, usually covered in a bit of grease or dust from the projects. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our day is spent actually fixing things or talking to people about what they need built. Military Square Lane can get crowded, especially with all the other small businesses around, but it feels like a community. We know the guys next door and we all sort of look out for each other. It’s a straightforward operation here. No big meetings, just work. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but that’s just part of being in Fort. We like the location because it’s central and everyone knows where B. Bharucha Marg is.
