The Hind Engineering Works

We are located in Andheri East on Mariswamappa Lane, specifically within the Nirmal Rubber and Compound near Silver Jubilee Park Road. The Hind Engineering Works is a place where there is always something being welded, cut, or bolted together. It is an industrial setting, so you shouldn't expect a clean or quiet environment when you visit us. The air usually smells of metal shavings and machine oil, and the floor has its fair share of stains. We don't have a front desk or a waiting room; people usually just walk right into the workshop and find us near the lathes or the welding station. We’ve been working in this compound for quite a while, and we have a rhythm that works for our small crew. The light inside is a bit dim, even with the big bulbs hanging from the rafters, but we know our machines well enough to work in almost any condition. We aren't worried about looking professional in the traditional sense; we just care about making sure the parts we produce are the right size and that the repairs hold up. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for materials to arrive, which gives us time to clean up the shop a bit, though it never stays clean for long. It’s tough, physical work, but it’s what we know how to do here in this corner of Andheri. We keep our tools ready and take each job as it comes.
