The Hind Bottle Stores

If you ever find yourself on Chakla Street, look for number 127. That’s where we are. The Hind Bottle Stores has been here for a long time, right in the middle of all the chaos. Chakla Street is famous for being crowded with trucks and people carrying crates of glass. Our store is packed from floor to ceiling with bottles of all shapes and sizes. It’s a bit of a challenge to move around sometimes because every inch of space is used for storage. We spend most of our day loading and unloading deliveries. It’s a lot of physical work, and you have to be careful with the glass, though a few breaks happen every now and then. The noise from the street never really stops, with horns honking and people shouting orders all day long. We don't have a fancy counter or a waiting area. People just come in, tell us what they need, and we go find it in the stacks. Our hands are usually a bit dusty from handling the crates. We’ve got a small group of workers who’ve been doing this for years, and they know exactly where everything is, even in the dark corners of the shop. It’s a basic way of doing business, but it works for this area. We don't use computers much; most things are still noted down in ledgers. It’s just how we’ve always done it here on the street.
