The Great Escape Tours

You’ll find us on the first floor of the Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West. It’s an old place with a lot of history, though today it’s mostly just a bunch of small businesses like ours. We are at 7/B, just off Karve Road. We spend our days planning trips and booking tickets for people who want to get away for a while. It’s a small office, mostly filled with maps, old brochures, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We don't have a big fancy storefront. Most of our clients are people from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. We talk about where they want to go, whether it’s a bus trip or something further away. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything manually, which can be a bit of a mess. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner to share with anyone who stops by. Malad is always crowded and noisy, but once you get inside the compound, it feels a bit different. We just try to help people figure out their travel without making it too complicated. It’s a simple business run by people who just like seeing others enjoy their holidays.
