The Explorers

You can find us in Bhayandar West, up on the sixth floor of the Salasar Classic building. We’re near the Nagar Bhavan, right on Fatak Road. It’s a busy area and finding parking can be a real pain sometimes, so most of us just take the bus or walk. We started this because we like getting out and seeing things. The office is filled with maps and some old gear we've used over the years, like backpacks and boots. It’s not very tidy, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time planning trips and talking to people about where they want to go. We aren't some big travel agency with a glass front and fancy brochures. We're just a few people who know the roads and the trails. Sometimes we’re out in the field more than we’re actually in the office. When we are here, we’re usually busy on the phone or fixing some equipment that broke on the last trip. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, so we keep the fans going. We’ve lived in this part of Mumbai for years, so we know the neighborhood and the people well. It’s a simple setup we have. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just help people get from one place to another and see something new. That’s about it for us. We just like what we do and stay busy without any fuss.
