The Event Workshop

You can find The Event Workshop tucked away in Room Number 3 of the Jai Hind Co-Operative Housing Society. We are right behind the Old Lake View Chawl in the Powai area. It’s a very specific spot, and it can be a little tricky for people to find the first time they visit us. Being near IIT Powai gives the area a certain energy that we’ve grown to like over the years. Our workspace isn't large, but it serves our needs for planning and prepping for our various jobs. We take on various event projects, and honestly, every day looks a little different around here. One morning we might be sorting out decorations, and the next we’re dealing with technical issues on a stage. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination with different vendors. We don’t use big words or pretend we have everything figured out perfectly every time. We just deal with problems as they pop up during the day. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed, mostly because we’ve worked together for so long. We know how to get the job done without making a big fuss about it. The building itself is older, but it has character and it's home to us. We like being part of the community in Punch Kuttir. It’s where we do our thinking and our building. We aren't a big corporation, just people who know how to put events together.
