The Chembur Balkrishna Corprative Housing Society Ltd

This is the office for the Balkrishna society in Chembur East. We are at 10 Amar Mahal, on S T Road. Our office is tucked away next to the Himachal Mitra Mandal. It’s a small, practical space where the committee members and the staff handle the day-to-day running of the housing society. It’s not a business in the usual sense; it’s more about looking after the building and the people who live here. We have old cupboards full of files and a large table that’s usually covered in maintenance bills and circulars. Residents come in all the time to talk about their flats, pay their monthly charges, or report something that needs fixing. It’s a very local atmosphere. We know everyone by their flat number and their name. The noise from S T Road is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes the meetings go on late into the evening, especially when there’s a big project like painting or elevator repair to discuss. We don't have any professional managers; it's mostly just neighbors helping out. There’s always a bit of a wait if you come during the busy hours, but we get through the work eventually. It’s a simple setup that has kept the society running for a long time. We just try to keep everything in order for the residents.
