The Bombay Engineering Works

The Bombay Engineering Works is located at Unit 12 in the Navyug Industrial Estate. We are right across from Swan Mills on Tokersey Jivraj Road in Sewri West. This is an old industrial part of Mumbai, and you can feel the history in the streets around here. Our workshop has been in this estate for a long time. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the machinery and the materials we have to store, but we make it work. The building itself is sturdy and has seen better days, but inside we have everything we need to do proper engineering. We aren't interested in being a big, polished corporation. We are just local engineers who enjoy the process of making and fixing things. You’ll usually find us covered in a bit of grease or dust, working on a lathe or a drill press. The traffic on Tokersey Jivraj Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, but we just stay focused on what’s on the workbench. It’s a simple life. We have our regulars who have been coming to us for years because they know we just do the work without any fuss. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people find us because they saw our sign while stuck in traffic or heard about us from someone else in Sewri. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running.
