Thakkar Tours & Travels is tucked away in Kandivali West, right on the 4th Cross of the 80 Feet Road. If you are looking for us, we are near Pancholia School in that Subbanna Palya New Extension area. It’s a long address to write down on envelopes, but it’s a good spot to be. We’ve got a small office here where we handle all the bus and car bookings. Most of our day is spent on the phone talking to drivers or checking which routes are blocked by construction. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll usually find one of us sitting at the front desk with a logbook. We don't use much fancy software; we prefer writing things down so we don't forget. The street outside is always full of school kids and rickshaws, so it’s never quiet. We’ve been helping people get to their weddings or vacation spots for years. We aren't a big travel agency with commercials on TV. We just have a few reliable cars and people we trust to drive them. Sometimes the traffic in Kandivali makes everything run late, but we do our best to keep things moving. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next booking to come in. It’s a straightforward life, and we like that we can help our neighbors get where they need to go without too much fuss. It keeps us busy and we are happy with that.
