We have been running Tender Fresh Ice Cream Pvt. Ltd. from our spot in Mathurdas Colony for a good while now. Being located in Santacruz East, specifically near Vidyanagari, means we get a lot of local foot traffic throughout the day. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. We just have our signs and the freezer units inside. Most of our day is spent making sure the machinery is running right because if the cooling stops, we have a real problem on our hands. The floors get sticky sometimes when it is busy, so we are always mopping up after the rush. People usually come in after dinner or when the sun is really beating down in the afternoon. We see a lot of students and families who live nearby. It is a small team here. We handle the deliveries, the serving, and the cleaning ourselves. Sometimes we run out of a particular flavor faster than we expected and have to tell people to wait until the next batch is ready. It gets a bit cramped in the back during the summer months. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here at this address. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years, but we are still here doing the same thing every day. It is hard work staying on your feet all day, but it's what we do. We just keep the freezers cold and the shop open.
