Temptations Gourmet Ice Creams

If you walk around Mulund West for a bit you will probably find us over at Temptations Gourmet Ice Creams. It is just a regular shop where we keep the units running all day and night to make sure nothing gets soft. Working here means you get used to the sound of the compressors humming in the back of the room. Mulund West is a busy place with a lot of folks walking their dogs or heading home from the station and they often stop in. We do not do anything too complicated but we do have to keep track of what flavors are running low so we can swap the tubs out. Sometimes the lids get stuck because of the ice buildup and you have to tug at them quite a bit. It is not like those big corporate places where everything is shiny and perfect all the time. Our floors have a few scuffs and the menu board has been written over a few times when prices changed or we got something new. I spend a lot of time just organizing the little plastic spoons and making sure the napkins are stocked up. It gets pretty busy on the weekends when families come in after dinner and the whole place smells like sugar and cold air. We just try to get the orders right and keep the line moving so nobody has to wait too long in the heat outside. That is pretty much how things go down here.
