You can find us at Gala 211 in the B Building of Hind Saurashtra Industrial Estate. It’s right in the heart of Andheri East, surrounded by factories and workshops. The sound of machinery and trucks is just part of our daily life here. We’ve been in the construction business for some time, and being in an industrial estate suits us just fine. We aren't the type for a high-rise office with glass walls. Our place is full of samples of tiles, cement bags, and tools. It’s a bit messy, but that’s because we’re actually working. Construction is a tough business in Mumbai. You have to manage the labor, get the materials through the traffic, and hope the costs don’t jump overnight. We spend most of our time out on the sites, making sure things are being built according to the plan. When we are in the office, we’re usually catching up on billing or arguing with suppliers over the phone. We don't have a polished corporate image. We’re just a bunch of people who know how to put a building together. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaks or a shipment is short, and we just have to fix it. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just do the work as best as we can and move on. It’s a long day, and the commute in Andheri is never easy, but we’re used to it by now and just keep at it.
