Our place is inside Vasan Udyog Bhavan on Senapati Bapat Marg in Lower Parel. We actually use three different units here, numbers 301, 306, and 321. It means we are constantly running up and down the hallway or waiting for the goods lift to move materials between the rooms. Lower Parel is a very crowded area these days with all the new malls and offices, but this building is still an old-school industrial spot. Inside our units, you will hear the sound of machines and people talking over the noise. It’s a bit dusty, and there’s usually a bit of grease on the floor near the equipment. We don't have a fancy office for meetings; we just pull up a stool in one of the units if someone stops by. Most of our day is spent making sure the production stays on track. We've been here for many years, so we know the other business owners in the building pretty well. The morning commute is always a bit of a struggle with the traffic on Senapati Bapat Marg, but once we get inside, we just focus on the work. It’s a practical, noisy, and busy environment where we get things made. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks as long as the machines are running properly and the orders are going out.
