Tej Shelters Llp

Tej Shelters Llp is based out of Room Number 19 on the ground floor of B.D.D Chawl 29. If you know Lower Parel at all, you know how busy these lanes get. We are right on Sakhubai Mohite Marg, not far from the Bawala Masjid. It is a small space, the kind of office where you can hear everything happening out on the street. The walls are thick like the old buildings here usually are, and it stays relatively cool even when the Mumbai sun is beating down on the chawl. People are always walking past the door, going about their day. Sometimes the noise from the masjid or the nearby shops makes it hard to hear a phone call, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We have been in this room for a while now. It is a practical spot for us because we are right in the middle of the action. You don't get much sunlight in these ground floor rooms, so we keep the lights on even during the day. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We usually have some files piled up on the desks and a few chairs for whoever drops by. It is not a fancy setup with glass partitions or anything like that. Just a regular room in a regular chawl where we get our work done every day without much fuss or noise.
