Tedds Chocolates

Tedds Chocolates is located up at Malabar Hill in Q-22, Godrej Baugh, Next To Pri. It is a nice part of town, but our shop is quite simple inside. We have a small workspace where we do all the mixing and cooling. Most of our day is spent watching the clock and checking the fridge. Making chocolate is a lot about waiting for things to set properly. We have a few tables where we wrap everything by hand. Sometimes we get the labels a bit crooked, but that is just how it goes when you do it yourself. We don't have a big store window with lights; it is more of a practical place where we get the work done. The customers are usually people from the neighborhood who know we are here at Q-22. We talk to them about their day while we bag their orders. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for when we have a big holiday coming up and we have to work late into the night. We go through a lot of cocoa powder and sugar, and the delivery trucks sometimes block the small road outside Godrej Baugh. We don't have any big slogans or fancy uniforms. We just wear our aprons and get to work. It is a small business, and we are just trying to make enough chocolate to keep the shelves from looking empty. We enjoy the quiet mornings before the phone starts ringing or the park gets crowded Next To Pri.
