Tax Executive

It’s a bit different working as a tax executive without a big street sign outside. You can mostly find me through my email at Sumeet_Sam312@Rediff.Com. I’ve been doing this for a while, mostly helping folks figure out their taxes and paperwork. It’s the kind of job that keeps you busy all year, but especially when the deadlines start getting close. I don't have a big fancy office with assistants everywhere. It’s more of a personal setup. I think people like that better anyway because they can just talk to me directly. Taxes are confusing for almost everyone, and I spend a lot of time explaining the same things over and over, but I don't mind. It’s part of the job. I keep my files organized and try to stay on top of the new rules that keep coming out. Working this way means I don't have the overhead of a big firm, so I can just focus on the work. I get emails from all sorts of people needing help with their returns or their business accounts. I just sit down, look at the numbers, and see what needs to happen. It’s practical work. There isn't much glory in it, but it’s important. People just want to make sure they aren't making mistakes with the government, and that’s what I help with. It’s a quiet way to earn a living, just me and my computer most days. I try to reply to everyone fast.
