Tanvi Patel

Working right near the Western Express Highway in Andheri East means you never really get any silence. My office is on the Service Road, and you can hear the cars and trucks zooming by at all hours. It’s a very practical location because everyone knows where the highway is. I’ve been running things here under the name Tanvi Patel for a while now. It’s just a basic setup. I have a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and my laptop. I don't really believe in having a lot of extra stuff that doesn't get used. The commute can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, but being so close to the main road makes it easier for people to drop by. I spend a lot of time on calls and sorting through emails. It’s just me and a little bit of help when things get really busy. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it does the job. I like the energy of Andheri East. There is always someone working nearby. Sometimes I take a walk down the service road just to stretch my legs when I’ve been sitting too long. It’s an honest way to make a living. I don't use big words to describe what I do. I just handle the tasks as they come and try to keep everything organized in my little space by the highway. It’s not a fancy life, but it keeps me busy and the work gets finished eventually.
