Tanish Travels

Down here in Kandivali West, specifically over at B/18 in Barve Nagar, things are usually moving fast. We are Tanish Travels and our spot is right opposite Ratnakar Bank. It’s a handy landmark because everyone knows where the bank is. The office is small but we manage to make it work. We have maps on the walls and a couple of desks that have seen better days. Usually, the phone is ringing with someone asking about bus timings or car rentals. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure they know where they are going for the day. Barve Nagar is a lively place, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. It gets quite loud outside but we don't really notice it anymore. I usually have a pile of logs and papers on my desk. It isn't very fancy here, just some chairs for people to sit while they wait for their tickets. We do a lot of writing things down by hand still. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait. It’s a local business and we know a lot of the people who live around here. They stop by for a chat even if they aren't going anywhere. We just keep things running as best as we can every day.
