Tangy Tamarind

Tangy Tamarind is right on Khar Linking Road, which is always moving. If you’ve been around here, you know how it gets with the shoppers and the cars constantly going past. We set up here because we like the energy of the street. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s fine with us. We’re just a small crew working hard every day. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. Instead, we focus on the kitchen and making sure things are ready for whoever walks in. Sometimes the line gets a bit long and we have to move fast, but we try to keep our heads down and stay busy. Being on Linking Road means we see all kinds of people, from locals who live nearby in Khar to people just passing through for the day. We’ve learned to manage the rush as it comes. It’s a lot of work, and some days are longer than others, but we enjoy the routine of it. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just hope people like what we do enough to come back next week. The space isn’t very big, but we make it work for us. It feels like home after all this time. We’re usually here from morning until late, just keeping things moving and trying to stay organized in the middle of all the Khar chaos. It’s a decent life and a good spot to be in. We just take it as it comes.
