Tahoora Tours & Travels

You will find us on Adam Grant Road, right at Shop No 6 on the ground floor. It’s right on the main road, directly opposite the Municipal Industrial Estate. The area is always buzzing with people from the factories across the street, so there is never a quiet moment. Inside Tahoora Tours & Travels, we have a couple of old desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We spend most of our time on the phone or staring at the computer screen trying to find flights or train tickets for people. The walls have some old posters of places we’ve never actually been to. It gets a bit dusty because the front door is always open to let in a bit of air, and the traffic outside kicks up a lot of grit. People walk in all day asking about visas or the cheapest way to get to their village. We do our best to keep the paperwork in order, but the folders tend to pile up on the floor. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there and wait for it to come back on. It is a small operation, just us and the local crowd. We have been in this same spot for years, and we know most of the people who work in the industrial estate by their first names. It’s a busy, cramped little office, but it works for us. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound.
