We have been here at Gautam Udyog Bhavan for a while now. It’s right on L.B.S. Marg, so the noise from the road is always there. The office is at number 112. We handle various parts and systems that people need for their machines. It isn't a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. Most days start early with checking what parts came in and what needs to go out. The guys here know where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit crowded to someone visiting for the first time. We spend a lot of time on the phone with vendors. Bhandup is a busy hub, so there is always movement around the building. Sometimes the lift in the Bhavan is slow, but we manage. We’ve grown slowly over the years without making too much noise about it. We just focus on the drawings and the components on the table. It’s straightforward work. No one wears suits here unless there’s a specific reason. We usually just have our chai and get back to the paperwork or the assembly. Being in an industrial area means you meet a lot of different people doing similar work. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from packing to talking to customers.
