S.V Mestry Engineering Works

We’re located at number 28 in the Blue Rose Industrial Estate. We are right on the Western Express Highway, just across from the Magathane Bus Depot in Borivali East. You can’t miss it because of all the buses going in and out all day long. It’s a noisy spot, but it’s convenient for getting stuff in and out. We do engineering work, mostly fixing parts and doing some fabrication. Our workshop is full of lathes and welding machines. It’s always loud in here, and there’s usually a bit of dust in the air. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our blue shirts working on something. We’ve been here in Borivali for years. We know most of the guys in the other units around us. We share tools sometimes or just grab a tea together at the stall nearby. The highway is always packed, so we hear the honking all day. It becomes like background noise after a while. We aren't trying to be some high-end tech firm. We just fix things that are broken and make parts that people need. It’s physical work and your back hurts a bit at the end of the day. But we like being our own bosses and running the shop the way we want. We just focus on the work on the bench and nothing else. That is how we keep things going.
