Our office is actually a bungalow called Gods Gift, located right opposite Veera Auto in the Damami area of Vasai. Being in Tamtalao gives us a bit more space than those tiny offices in the middle of Mumbai. We handle distribution work, so there are always boxes moving around and delivery guys coming in to check their manifests. The bungalow has a bit of character to it, definitely different from a standard glass building. We’ve got a small garden area out front that looks okay when it’s not raining too hard. Inside, we’ve turned the rooms into workspaces for the different teams. It can get a bit chaotic when three trucks show up at the same time and everyone is trying to figure out where the stock goes. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and the warehouse, making sure the numbers match up. Vasai is a bit quieter than the city, but the heat is just as bad in the summer. We keep the fans running at full speed and usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes off the water. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the local shortcuts to avoid the traffic near the station. It’s a straightforward business, and we don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. We just move goods from one place to another and try to keep everyone happy.
