Our office is in Room Number 1 on Plot 606/A, over near the Bhaudaji Road Extension in Byculla. It is not a flashy travel office with big posters of beaches or mountains everywhere. It is a simple room where we sit and figure out how to get people from one place to another. Booking tickets and planning routes can be a real headache these days with all the changes and cancellations, but we have been doing it for long enough that we have a rhythm. We mostly help people with train bookings, some flights, and car rentals if they are going out of town for a few days. The Byculla area is quite old and has a lot of character, and we like being tucked away here. It gets busy during the holiday seasons, and the phone doesn't stop ringing from morning till night. Sometimes we have to tell people that the train they want is full, which is never fun, but we try to find an alternative that works for them. We don't have any big corporate goals or mission statements. We just want to make sure someone gets to their destination without too much trouble. It is a small operation, just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a computer that is a bit slower than I would like. We have helped a lot of families plan their trips over the years. It feels good when someone comes back and tells us they had a nice time.
