Surial Ice Cream

If you’re walking around Khar, you might stumble upon Surial Ice Cream. We aren't on the mainest road, but we’re easy enough to find. It’s a pretty quiet spot most of the time. I spend a lot of my day just making sure the containers are full and the floor is clean. People in Khar seem to like their treats in the evening after they’ve had their dinner. That’s when we get the most people coming in. The shop is painted a light color to try and keep it feeling cool inside. I’ve got a couple of old fans that rattle a bit, but they do the job. Sometimes I sit out front when it’s slow and watch the cars go by. It’s a decent neighborhood. We’ve had the same freezer for years, and it’s still humming along, which is a relief because those things are expensive to fix. We don't have a giant sign or anything, just the name on the door. I think people like that it feels like a regular place. We just sell ice cream, nothing more and nothing less. I don’t use any fancy machines, just a scoop and some napkins. It’s a simple way to spend the day. I’ve known some of the people who come in since they were little. Now they’re tall and have jobs, but they still want the same flavor they did ten years ago.
