Working out of Sewri in Mumbai is an experience. Supermax Boiler Engineers is located at 4, Borichwal, on T.J. Road. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is busy and loud. There’s always the sound of trucks and the smell of the city. Our place is right in the thick of it. The 400015 area is industrial, and we fit right in. The office is small and crowded with spare parts and old clipboards. We’ve got grease on the floor and dusty windows, but it’s a working office, not a showroom. We get here early to beat the worst of the train crowds, though that doesn't always work out. There’s a guy who sells vadapav just down the street, and that’s basically our fuel. We aren't polished people. Our hands are usually a bit dirty, and we speak plainly. We’ve been on T.J. Road for years, and we’ve seen businesses come and go while we just keep plugging away. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a water feature or a fancy lounge. We have some plastic chairs for guests and a big table where we spread out our drawings and plans. It’s honest work in a tough part of town, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Mumbai is fast, but we’ve found our own rhythm here in Borichwal. It is a gritty place but it is exactly where we need to be.
