Sunny Flowers

Sunny Flowers is based in Dadar West, though our address mentions Shahibaug Ahmedabad as well, which is just part of our history. Dadar is really the heart of the flower business in Mumbai, so it is the right place for us to be. The energy around here is something else, especially early in the morning when the main markets are in full swing. Our shop is very simple. We don't spend our money on fancy lighting or big expensive signs. We just have our flowers and the basic tools we need to do the job. Every day is a bit different depending on what is available at the market. Some days we have great marigolds, and other days it might be all about the roses. We spend a lot of time just cleaning up the mess that comes with this kind of work. There are always leaves and broken petals to sweep up at the end of the day. We aren't corporate or polished people; we are just a staff that knows how to handle plants and keep them alive. We’ve been around for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but the work we do stays the same. It is about being here on time, keeping the stock fresh, and making sure we have enough string and paper to finish the day's orders. It’s just a practical, everyday business.
