Suncha Ice Creams

Suncha Ice Creams is located at Versova T Dasarahalli 5. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads around here. We spend the first hour of the day just checking the stock and seeing what we need to order for tomorrow. The machines make a constant humming sound that you eventually stop noticing after working here for a week. Versova has that salty air that can be tough on the metal fixtures, so we have to scrub them pretty often to keep the rust away. We don't have any big mission statement or anything like that. We just wanted to have a shop where we could work for ourselves. The T Dasarahalli 5 area has its own rhythm, with people heading to work early and coming back late. We stay open for the late crowd. Sometimes the streetlights outside flicker, and it gets a bit dark, but we keep our interior lights bright. We handle all the scoops ourselves. It gets tiring on the wrists after a few hours, but you get used to it after a while. The delivery trucks struggle with the narrow turns near our address sometimes. We usually have to go out and help them guide the van in so they don't hit the wall. It’s just a normal day of work. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We just sell ice cream out of a small room and try to keep the bills paid and the lights on.
