We run things out of Hanuman Nagar in Vikhroli Parksite. It’s located at Prajapati Awas. We deal with tandoors, mostly getting them ready to be sent out to different places. It’s a dusty job sometimes because of the materials, but it’s what we’ve been doing for a long time now. The space is a bit cramped with all the equipment and the ovens waiting to go, but we manage somehow. We aren’t a huge factory, just a local setup where we focus on the build. My brothers and I are usually here every day checking the quality of the clay and the metal. It gets hot, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the workshop. We make sure the tandoors are packed right so they don’t crack when they’re being moved on the trucks. Vikhroli is a busy area, so there’s always noise outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just the workspace where the real labor happens. People call us when they need a proper oven for their restaurant or backyard. We don't do much advertising; word just gets around by itself. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till late at night. Sometimes we have tea outside when it's too hot in the shop.
