Steelite Engineering Ltd.

Our office is over in Blackie House, right across from the GPO in the VT area. It's a historic part of Mumbai, very busy with people coming and going from the station. We’ve been operating Steelite Engineering from this spot for quite a while. Most of our day is spent dealing with engineering projects and the paperwork that comes with it. The location on Walchand Hirachand Marg is convenient because everyone knows where the GPO is. The building itself has that old Mumbai feel, with high ceilings and heavy doors. We aren't a big flashy corporation with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s mostly just us at our desks, working through the technical details of whatever job is on hand. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit loud, but you get used to it. We focus on the engineering side of things, making sure parts and designs are handled properly. It's a steady pace here. We don't spend money on big signs or marketing. We just do the work we get. Being near the station makes it easy for staff to get in, though the area is always packed. We’ve stayed in this office because it suits what we do. It’s a simple setup, really. Just a few rooms with files and computers where we get things done. We’ve seen many businesses come and go around here, but we just keep doing what we know and paying the rent.
