Starcity

Starcity is located right in the Western Railway Colony, at 11/205 on S.V. Road in Bandra West. It’s a busy part of the world, that’s for sure. If you know Bandra, you know how S.V. Road gets during rush hour, with the buses and the rickshaws all jammed up. Our place is tucked inside the colony, so it’s a little bit set back from the main noise, but you can still hear the trains pulling into the station every few minutes. It’s a humble setup, really. We don’t have a big glass front or a fancy sign. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it’s solid. Most of the people around here work for the railway or have lived here for decades. We do our work from this small office, handling whatever comes our way. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so many files and old ledgers stacked up, but we manage. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the neighbors, so we spend time walking over to the other blocks to drop things off. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big corporate structure; it’s just a few of us making sure things run right in this little corner of Mumbai 400050. It’s honest work and we really like the neighborhood.
